Interesting that she inserts the hoop past the ear wire so she wears about a 2mm hoop through the piercing. I like!

Does anyone know what size piercing would be required to just see a little light through the hole? Would 16ga or 14ga be enough?

She probably did not deliberately insert past the wire. It probably worked it way through on its own. That happens a lot if you wear hoops for a longer period or are active while wearing them.

The pierce that she has looks to be around 10g a but will likely shrink back down when she takes the hoop out.

If you wear even a standard post earring (16 ga.) very tightly clenched, you can see light through the pierce for a while after you take out the earring. To see light permanently, you need to go up to around 6 ga. Below that, the hole will shrink back down
