I'm so glad I found this site. I'm a 25yo woman with a devoted boyfriend who has a crazy hoop earring fetish. To be honest, I've always thought hoops were trashy, so I've never worn them. I've had no reservation about voicing my dislike of hoop earrings to him, and he hides his disappointment relatively well. But I know how much he likes them.
Then I read the "fond memories" thread on this forum - and I realized that I'm missing out on a great opportunity to look hot and make my boyfriend happy all at the same time!
My question is this: is it too late for me to start wearing them around him, since he knows I don't personally like them? Have I already ruined it for him, so that if he sees me in them he won't enjoy it? It really would be a huge change for me to start wearing them, so I'm not sure how I should go about it. Any suggestions?
Personally if I were you I would buy some and start wearing them around him. If he asks just tell him you are experimenting with something new o see if you like it. He will get turned on by this and start showing lots of interest!!! Are you planing on wearing huge hoops or just smaller sizes? Huge hoops are very nice and my wife has some of the biggest anyone has seen. 6INCHES!!!!
I'm glad you found this site as well, we don't hear much perspective from the female side. I'm also glad to hear that you've started to reconsider your position on hoops, knowing that makes all of the hard work I've put into this site seem more worthwhile.
I personally don't think it's ever too late to start wearing hoops. Even if you have to start small and work your way up. Or you can blow his socks off and surprise him with a pair of big thick hoops. I'm sure he'd love it, even if he knows you're not a big fan of hoops.
For a bit of perspective on the situation, my girlfriend wears hoops for me, even though they're not her style per se. Sure I'd love it much more if I knew she enjoyed wearing them as much as I enjoyed seeing her with them, but at the same time it makes me just as happy to know that she goes out of the way just to please me.
So give it a shot, make the guy realize just how special you are. Tell him to stop by the site as well. And keep us updated

Just curious, is your opinion only because other's say they're trashy? I've seen many sophisticated business women wear them over the years, so I dont agree that they're trashy. Sexy yes, trashy no.
