Flexible Lobes!
Robert Likeglass
Hard to be a lover of hoops on beautiful women without focusing a bit on the point of the attachment. I find the girl's earlobes make the difference between a hoop that just sits there like it is attached to a mannequin, and one that dances and plays with her ear. Somehow the mannequin look is boring to me. I love to see the interaction! The motion of the hoop. The bouncing, the swaying.... I especially love it when a girl has stopped moving her head and yet the large hoop slowly continues to swing back and forth like it has a life of its own. Shock

Of course, the location of the pierce plays a roll. Too high and the earring sits there like it is dead. Too low and it just looks odd. The best combo I've seen is an earlobe that is round and soft, meeting the cheek at about the 3 o'clock (or 9 o'clock depending on the side) point, with a piercing centered and at an elevation just below the cheek meeting point. This seems to provide the peak "play" while still being strong enough to handle the heaviest hoop. Cool

I find it erotic when I see such a girl! I especially like it if she is one that likes to play with hear earrings out of habit. Grin

Anyhow, just my thoughts.... Add your own below.

I have to agree with the above. I like womens ear lobes so any earrings that bring attention to the ear lobe is fun. I like earrings that create some motion with the ear lobe. Hoops are timeless and look great but I also like dangles and other interesting earrings.

Another cool thing about earrings is that they can make the lobe look a little different shape depending on the weight and style. I think a lobe that is slightly pulled down is attractive; especially when the body orientation changes like leaning over or turning the head.

For me, one of the biggest factors is the lobe attachment characteristic. I consider three types of earlobe attachments: unattached, where the bottom of the lobe is fully rounded and not attached to the face at all; attached, where the earlobe is connected to the face, meeting at a right angle; and smoothly attached, where the earlobe curves downward into the face/cheek. I have a strong preference for unattached earlobes, and honestly find smoothly attached earlobes to be a turn-off. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

Agree with both statements above! I love the way the dominate earring plays with the soft, submissive lobe. There is almost a touch of playful bondage that I find very erotic! The concept that the earring actually travels through the lobe also intensifies this image. Cool

I totally agree. I love seeing a really large or heavy hoop earring swinging a fat, round earlobe everywhere.

Just 1 good hoop in each lobe is tre-cool!

I agree completely on this matter. What's ironic about that statement is my current girlfriend not only has what you describe as smoothly attached lobes but she also does not have pierced ears. I'm sure I could persuade here to pierce them one day; but the look of hoops on attached lobes fails in comparison to the sight of a pair unattached lobes swinging back and forth with the hoops as she turns her head about.

I agree with hlover above in my appreciation for earrings in unattached lobes. At various times I have liked all types of ears - just can't make up my mind. I also used to like it better when a woman wouldn't wear earrings. Though now I deffinitly like to see nice earrings on any type of ear.

There is an old .alt site on yahoo called female ear lovers which is more for people that just like girls ears and don't seem to care about earrings much. I haven't been on there in like 7 years cause it was taken over by spam. The interesting thing is there are a bunch of photos of protruding ears that stick out from the head. It is always interesting to me to see what angle the lobe is. Some can be viewed pretty much head on and others more from the side. This of course affects how earrings look and move.

Just posted a picture of a model from a jewelry site http://www.edgeofurge.com/boutique/ac...y_ears.php
Now the interesting thing is I think she must have done the eyelet thing. This has given her a look of super flexible earlobes! Although I don't like eyelets, the resulting effect once the eyelets are out is somehow very hot. Her lobes look healed from the eyelets, but the effect is that it exaggerates the look of the weight of the earrings. I will attempt to attach the picture here-
